Hello friends and family,

It's finally happening! I will be going to Japan on a short term missions trip this summer for 2 1/2 weeks.

The organization I'll be going with is called JEMS (Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society), a local Japanese missions agency that started 77 years ago, reaching the Japanese for Jesus here and back in Japan.

The beautiful thing about my partnering with this organization in going to Japan, is that I already have my connections with this organization because of my work associates and the Japanese choir in Long Beach I've been a part of in the last 2 years.

For those of you who don't know, I currently work locally in an all Japanese speaking corporate office. This was certainly the hand of God for me to work here the last year and a half now. I also lead an all Japanese speaking Bible study with my co leader, Kazuko, which was started as a result of the many Christians I've met at my current company. We've been leading this Bible study for the last year and a half now.

For this trip, we will be partnering with a local Brazilian Japanese church in the city of Toyohashi to assist with all manners of church needs, including possibly, leading a choir! We will be there from July 29th for the first 2 weeks of August. I will keep you updated through Instagram while I'm out there!

Feel free to pray and ask God how He would lead you to partner with me, whether in prayers, financially or both, in having me sent out to the nation of Japan for a short term trip THIS YEAR, for the first time to assist in strengthening the church in Japan!
