Bianca Choy

Hello! My name is Bianca and I am a second-year Animal Science major at Cal Poly SLO. This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to serve on a short-term mission with JEMS (Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society) in Toyohashi, Japan. I often reflect on the people I met, the testimonies I heard, and the many ways I saw God working through each moment. It was a blessing to witness God’s hand at work in Japan, a nation where many have yet to hear the Gospel.

I’m excited to share that this summer I will be returning to Toyohashi to serve once again. As I prayed about returning, I felt God calling me back to see how He has continued to grow the seeds that were planted and to offer myself as a vessel for sharing His Word and serving the local church.

During this trip, our team will be ministering among the Brazilian-Japanese community. We hope to encourage the local church, build relationships with the children and families, and share the hope and love found in Christ.

I would deeply appreciate your support, whether through prayer or financial partnership, as my team prepares for this mission. I ask that you pray that God will open doors for our message and give us wisdom in sharing it (Colossians 4:3-6). If you feel led to support this mission financially, my goal is to raise $2,000 to cover airfare, food, housing, transportation, and ministry supplies.
