The Mason's Ministry
Michael and Chris are career missionaries serving in the southern Osaka area.
The Masons arrived in Japan in 1997, and began serving at Sakai International Bible Church. In 2001, they were installed as the head pastors of SIBC and functioned in that role until 2012 when the church transitioned to a simple-style house church. At this point the church changed it's name to Oasis Church. Michael still provides leadership to the church, especially in the areas of teaching and leading worship. After serving 8 years at Kansai Christian School in Nara, Chris now feels lead to work in the area of member care. This will include providing support and encouragement to the many JEMS missionaries serving in Japan. Together with Michael, they will serve in this capacity while still ministering at Oasis Church.
Michael and Chris have one son, Luke, who graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA in 2023.

While the Masons trust in the Lord to supply all of their ministry needs, they understand that the Lord uses the generosity of churches and individuals like you to enable them to serve in Japan. Doing so will allow them to continue to share the Gospel of Jesus and build the Kingdom of God in the Kansai area.
