Give to help J-Lodge purchase a coffee roaster!

The mission of God flows from the heart of God and we are full of thanks and praise to have been called by Him to take part in His plan to reach the lost people of Japan.

We are doing three streams of overlapping ministry. One is the evangelism work we do through our coffee shop outreach ministry called Jlodge. Another ministry is the work we do through our church, Son Chapel; This is a teaching and discipleship ministry. We also host a monthly Sunday evening Bible study and fellowship ministry at Jlodge. A big part of what we do takes place at our coffee shop, Jlodge. Roasting, brewing and serving coffee provides a natural point of contact allowing us to meet students every day. Through time we are able to build deep and lasting friendships with them and the Lord uses these friendships to open and soften their hearts so that they are ready to hear the Gospel, often for the first time in their lives.

The Jlodge Fellowship (we call it 2nd Sunday) is a simple or house church style of fellowship. It is a church where deep relationships are forged under the influence of God's Word and preserved through the care and comfort of His love. Japanese believers are encouraged and equipped to walk in a deeper faith as they learn and grow in their love for God and grow in love for their neighbors.

At our church, Son Chapel, the Lord has given us a place to serve and to be served. Our ministry includes preaching, teaching, discipling, and serving as Elders. We bring the beauty, truth and meaning of God's Word empowered by His Spirit into the lives of our brothers and sisters in natural and culturally sensitive ways.
