COVID-19

Our Response

Dear JEMS Family,

COVID-19 is requiring JEMS to make some temporary changes which we would like to share with you.

First, in our efforts to comply with the guidelines set by our federal, state and local authorities, most of our staff will not be in the office, but will be working from home until at least March 30, 2020.  If you do not reach a live person by phone, rest assured that our staff is checking emails and phone messages daily, and will promptly response to all inquiries.  We are attempting to keep delays to a minimum, and thank you in advance for your patience.

Secondly, all scheduled JEMS-sponsored events occurring prior to April 30, 2020 have been cancelled.  This includes the PNW 20th Anniversary Concert, all sporting events (golf, basketball and volleyball) and all AACF events.  For a complete list of events currently cancelled, please check the JEMS website at https://www.jems.org/general-events/. Any refund inquiries should be emailed to info@jems.org, and they will be forwarded to the appropriate person.  Please note that refunds for any event cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Final decisions regarding the cancellation of events scheduled after April 30th will be made at a later date in light of the then current COVID-19 situation.  Any changes will be announced on JEMS’ website.  This includes summer mission trips to South America and Japan.  A separate statement will be issued shortly regarding Mount Hermon.

For our AACF students, please watch for email and facebook announcements regarding online meetings and gatherings, and special online events.  AACF is making every effort to continue its ministry while complying with all COVID-19 requirements and guidelines.

While social distancing is limiting fellowship at this time, please remember to reach out via phone or email to your pastor, your community church, your neighbors or your friends if you need assistance of any kind.  Do not turn social distancing into complete isolation.  As always, spend some of your extra time with your heavenly Father in prayer and in His Word.
